I tried every thing to make paltalk run under linux finally I could make WinE run paltalk
Now it works fine (almost fine)

What we are going to use for this:
1- Installed version of Windows 98Se(Recommended) or Me
2- WinE
3- Paltalk (you would better to use old version)

Steps:
1- From windows Start ..> Run
Type Regedit
2- Regestry --> Export Regestry
3- Now restart to your Linux OS
4- Open "~/.wine/dosdevices"
5- Make link to your windows partion and call it "c:" there should be a file already named "c:" you can replace/rename the old one
6- open the shell and type "wine regedit"
7- Regestry --> Import Regestry
8- Choose the file you have exported from your window

Now Try to install and run paltalk

9- from paltalk open the setup page
10- in "sound" tab check the "Firewall support" and "Half duplix"

11- click ok then restrat your paltalk

It works

If any body found a better soultion please email me

I've asked for paltalk's protocols but paltalk manager told me it is illegal to use this protocol.

I don't care if any body know paltalk's protocol please email me

Xman

Looks like they may be releasing a web browser plugin which you may be able to get working with konqueror/mozilla:

It may be easier to find a native GNU/Linux app that will achieve what you want.

Since the PalTalk service is geared to Windows users, one of Katz's current initiatives is to convert from a stand-alone client software application to a browser plug-in client. Of course, the browser would be Internet Explorer. That's okay with Katz, because his main objective is to provide a service and building plug-ins for his Windows-based customers just makes total business sense for him.
