Hello,

Soon I will be installing a full copy of Suse Pro 9.0 onto an existing dual boot system. Currently I have Suse Pro 8.0 and Win98SE, but am prepared to make a full cut from Windows. I would like to install the new version so it is able to fully overwrite all the existing OS's and access both harddrives. (Boot and operate from 8gig master and write files etc to 20gig slave).

Is there anything I need to do in advance to make this process easier, or will the install process be flexible enough to accommodate?

I don't need to keep Win98, as it hasn't been kept up to date, and I think MS does not maintain support for it anymore anyway.

Appreciate your help!

No need to do anything special before you install SUSE Linux. Boot your PC using the first CD and when you get to the partition section, delete everything and start a new partition table... After that, just sit back and watch it go to work!

Thanks for the info. I just knew it was going to be easy. I've been happy with 8.0 and now looking forward to the latest version.

Cheers!
