Dear Friends! i configured linux box as a gateway using ip-masquerading.
i also as a windows machine from which i can browse. but when i am using outlook express it does not work. please help me how to configure outlook express to send and receive mails via linux box.

Could be a number of things.
You'll need ports 110 and 25 open if you plan to use POP3 and SMTP.
What servers are you entering into your outlook express configuration? If you are running a mail server on the linux box, you should enter that. More probably, you just want to use it as a gateway, in which case you should enter the ISPs mail servers.
Really need more info, what errors are you getting? Are you able to collect mail on your linux box?
