If your CD and download was good I assume you mean the monitor setting is out of range.

Boot with 'cheat sheet" option to help correct video.

See here.

I have tried the three different options listed below, but it still halts and displays "Out OF Range". Also, I cannot find the cheat sheet options on the Cd nor can I find it when using the Cd.

knoppix vga=normal vsync=72 hsyns=37.9
knoppix xvrefresh=60 xhrefresh=80
knoppix vsync=60 hsync=80

Can someone explain what this means:
"Use 60 Hz vertical refresh rate for X"

Thanks, for the help. I used the cheat code listed below to correct the "Out Of Range" message.
knoppix screen=1680x1050 depth=24 xvrefresh=60

Now that I see it is a much newer monitor I should also have said push the auto button or plug in back. AC button will not work, lcd's tend to be in a semi on state even with off button. It tries to remember the state too much. That is why the power plug or auto button forces it to re-sync.

I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you peanut.
