Hi friends, I recently downloaded opensuse 10.2 for vmware player, window xp but could not connect to internet.
The network device dsl config page do not show any dsl modem. I am using prolink 9000c modem ethernet. My other linux OS, simplyMephis installed on a different parition works fine and is connected to internet.
For linux OS in a virtual environment, do I need special driver software ???
Any help will be appreciated
Thanks

STAN

We'd need more info on you dsl connection to make a guess. Might try connecting via main os and then just open a page in 10.2. See also has the choices do for ethernet in vmplayer. Each has some issues.

I suggest that you consider the live cd image instead of the vmplayer.

I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you goober.
