Comment:

I generated the site self-signed certificate with openssl as stunnel.pem according to the docs to I could use SPOP3 (secured pop3) on port 995. Outlook worked but now shows "TCP/IP unexpectedly disconnected" and /var/log/messages shows this error:
SSL_accept: error:00000000::lib(0) :func(0) :reason(0)
ANY IDEAS? Thanks.

sorry, i have never had any luck with open ssl on linux. why don't you try an apop server instead, uses an md5 hash to provide
pw protection.....
