Running RedHat 7.1 with SAMBA 2.2.5 Trying to get Linux to print to a Printer hosted on a NT 4.0 Server. Have setup printer using printconf-gui window. We then type - cat filename | lpr -P lj1100 The command executes without error but no print job arrives at the printer. I am able to ping the host machine by name so I don't think it is a communication problem. Have also tried to print using smbclient like: "\\\\WAV-0027\\lj1100" asecretpwd -N -c "lilo.conf" error i get from this is: session setup failed: ERRDOS - ERRnoaccess (Access Denied) Have also tried: /usr/local/samba/bin/smbclient '\\WAV-0027\LJ100' -P -N error I get from this is: Anonymous login successful tree connect failed: NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED I have successfuly joined this linux machine to the Domain, but still appear to be having access problems.
