in the manual of mount you see that there is an option to mount NTFS partition. but in action you see a message stating that the ntfs is not supported by kernal !

You need to recompile your kernel with NTFS support turned on. It is off by default.
Also, turn on NTFS *READ* support ONLY!! Do not enable NTFS WRITE support. Trying to write to an NTFS partition from linux *WILL* trash the NTFS file system in relatively short order.
