I have a 60GB Hard Drive. I used to have a 10GB linux partition. Then I used MEPIS to put the space back in the NTFS Partition. But Windows XP still say the capasity is 42GB should I tranfer everthing on my hard drive to another computer and then reformat my hardrive(how would I do this?) and move the data back or is there an easier way?

Not necessarily easier but safer if you backup all your data, then resize or reformat. I don't use MEPIS, only Partition Magic.
