I can get mandrake to access my ntfs partitions, but that only applies to reading though, I cannot write to them or delete from them, is there a way to make linux be able to fully use ntfs partitions?

For now, Linux can only read from NTFS so if you force Linux to write to NTFS, bad things will happen to your NTFS so don't even think about it... And if you must write or delete to a non-linux partition, then create a FAT32.
