The little search option in the top right corner gives you at least 50 postings to that topic: NTFS -> Linux -> Search
Bottom line: The support is regarded as not mature enough to be used to read and write into NTFS file systems. Most kernels don't include it as a default for that reason.

Is that a whining that I hear about the NTFS thing??? RedHat Linux doesn't support NTFS out of a box so you need to download and install a module for it. Here is a site where you can download a copy of module for your kernel, linux-ntfs.sourceforge.net. Just follow the instruction on that site on how to do it...
