Not cleanly mounted

Just a question. The Distro is Redhat 7.2. I had problems on the install with \usr directory not mounting cleanly. her (Also another directory) Any suggestion for fixing this other than reinstalling?

Boot up your system with your installation
floppy disk and run fdisk on that partition.

fdisk? fsck will probably fix it. Actually, you could probably just umount the /usr partition, rather that use a floppy.
