Now when I try to turn on my computer, it just got stuck in the post that tell you information like press f2 to run setup f11 for boot menu. and I did but it just froze there. I try to put my windows 7 disk in to maybe do some repair but it never but it still froze in the post. Please someone help!

Start at bios. See if your drives are shown correctly. See any detection feature that bios may have to sort of reload the numbers into bios. (I know most linux and windows xp and above do not use bios as such)
I am just trying to see where we stand on the machine side.

near the battery in the MB there is a jumber switch. I short cut it to bypass the post and was able to get into the bios to do some change. Put my Windows 7 CD in the dvd drive and was able to read from it. instead of reinstalling the OS I did a repair but fails. There was no OS in the current drive. I even went into the command prompt and try to fix the bootsect.exe but no luck. it keeps saying that the current drive is not active. Luckily I got me a network drive so my data was still intact.
