No internet

I can connect to internet but no websites at all and x-chat doesn't work either, any idea?

My guess is that you don't have DNS set up.

In this file:

/etc/resolv.conf

add lines for your DNS servers:

nameserver 10.10.10.1
nameserver 10.10.10.2
nameserver 10.10.10.3

(Replacing 10.10.10.1 with your primary DNS, 10.10.10.2 with your secondary, and 10.10.10.3 with your tertiary (if you have one).

I haven't used Debian (Well, Corel Linux, but that's not exactly the same), but I know this works with Redhat and Mandrake (and others).
