I have two HDs: fixed has W98 and W2K. I also have a removable drive with RH 8.0. I installed it with lilo in the hdb1 boot sector and not MBR because the drive is removable (I want another with Debian). It boots fromn floppy OK, but hangs up at LI when I try to boot from the hard drive. I have gone over the lilo.conf file many times, tried re-running lilo several times and tried the command at the floppy's boot: prompt.
I also tried installing grub from the Red Hat graphical setup. It said that because I wasn't changing the kernel, it would not write the boot changes to disk! Wild!
