Hi all,
I just started using the Fadora Core today and I'm getting to really like it. However, I'm a gamer, so naturally I wanted to install some games like Unreal Tournament 2003, Diablo 2, Halo, Star Craft, blah blah blah, and I was wondering if there are some games out there that flat out don't support Linux or am I'm just a stupid noob that can't do something as simple as install a program with out looking an idiot?

Some games have been ported to GNU/Linux such as UT by companies like Loki (http://www.lokigames.com/). Others can be run using cedega (formally winex) which you can get from www.transgaming.com. They also have a database of how well certain games run as not all of them do (http://www.transgaming.com/searchgame.php).
From my experience OpenGL stuff runs great if you can manage to get it installed and get around the copy protection some CDs have. Even if you have the original CD the game often complains that you don't! DirectX games tend to run slower as all the calls have to be translated in software to OpenGL before being displayed.
As it is, windoze still has the upper hand when it comes to choice of games....but more companies are starting to release linux versions too. It is probably one of the biggest reasons to have a dual boot system.
