new pc with rh8

i screwed up, got a new pc installed rh8 instead of win now when i realize the folly i can't get rid of rh8 to install win2000 and then rh8. can anybody tell me how i can go about uninstalling rh8. the pc came without a floppy so when i try to fdisk with a 98 boot cd it does not detct the cd . tried to change bios to boot from cdrom but can't seem to do it . thanks

Boot using your RedHat CD1
When you get the prompt type: linux rescue
When you get to the command line type: fdisk /dev/hda
Use the p command to list partitions Use the d commmand to delete the linux partitions listed by the p command. It is best to start with the highest numbered partition and work your way down. Use the q command when you are done to save your changes and exit.
