I am trying to connect a multiboot box to another multiboot box. For now, the main box can be taken as a win98se running WinGate 4.5. On that, I get a log message saying that the ENS driver wasn't loaded. On the other box, I have winxp, win98se, winnt4, SuSE7.0 and RedHat7.0. My aim is to share a cable modem connection.
All the windows o/s's work. No doubt that is why it's called WINgate! My LAN doesn't work, though. And I can use Solaris8 from another computer to access the internet.
On top of this, RH7 should, I believe, support my sis900 nic. Insmod just gives an error. SuSE auto-finds it, and says it configures it (with 192.168.0.4, the same as all the windows ones) but Netscape gives an error about the proxy server. But the settings work on Solaris! Very frustrating!
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Sincere thanks,
Liam
