Hello,
I need to network install either Gentoo, Debian, or Slackware. My only problem is the computer that I need to do it on has no CD drive and all the computers on the network around it need the CD drives as they are in almost constant use. Is there any way to boot from a floppy (or more than one) such as I can do with FreeBSD and then network install?

Thanks!

Study FTP/NFS installation. It'll solve your problem.
