I have SuSE 7.2 installed on my computer. Currently I have a Netgear FA311 network card in it. Linux can't find drivers for it and all that I could find at neatgears site was ones for redhat. I assume that they will not work with SuSE. Is there a way that I could install some dummy drivers or something so that I can at least get on the net with it or do I need to use a different network card?

The Netgear FA-311 uses the natsemi.o driver. If your SuSE distro doesn't have native support for the card, you'll need to download and compile the source files from http://www.scyld.com/network/ethercard.html.
Follow the directions given there.
