Firefox is my first choice with Opera (known to be relatively fast and light on RAM) and Konqueror (with the rendering engine Safari is based on) tied for second.

Konqueror seems faster. Firefox is the best versatile, due to the many extensions. But beware of allowing Google as its homesite. Some advertisers send buggy scripts to your computer. The extension "noscript" will help keeping your computer going.
