What I need is some help from a CD-R Expert, I saw once that on the tomb raider cd that there are three files that each is about 1 GB, so when you goto copy the cd it doesn't work of course, but if you copy all the files except these three hidden files and then burn them no problem, so my guess is these files are fonies, just fakes, is there a way to burn a cd with these kind of fake files on them to make the cd look bigger? so no one can just direct copy it, or any other process you may know of?

Don't think that method will work these days as most cdr programs don't try and copy the files, rather make a bit-for-bit duplicate of the CD. This way you can write oversized files, bad sectors and other security features that would normally stop you from copying them before.
As to how it is done, you've got me intrigued. If i find out I'll let you know.
