Need AMSN for mandrake 9.0

I need a working version of AMSN that is
compatible and ACTUALLY WORKS on Mandrake
9.0 can anyone help??

had you tried Kopete? Kopete is a multi-service messenger...in one place you can have AOL, MSN, ICQ and IRC buddies.

this is the best msn clone that i know. it works well on mandrake 9.0.

The problem with Mandrake is the TCL/TK version. You need TCL/TK version 8.3 or higher to run AMSN, Mandrake 8 has version 8.1.

Strange is that Mandrake 9 actually has the right version of the library.

Are you installing it properly.

Tell us what you are doing to install, and we can help you figure out what's wrong.

By the way, I AM using AMSN for some time now (some four months) flawlessly. I think I will contribute to developing it, in order to put it working on the system tray (just like in Gnome).

Let us know exactly what you are doing (or PVT me if you want) and maybe we can help you better.
