Hello all. first of all I had an ATI all in wonder (16megs of ram) for my win 2k. I later installed a dualboot (linux mandrake 7.2 and win2K) but unfortunately my ATI all- in-wonder card wouldn't work properly with my linux despite all configurations made. I finally decided to get a cheap-ass card (about 4megs of ram) which worked good in both my linux and my win2K. Later I decided to have both graphics card on my mother board and switch to my ATI while in win2k(because I could use it in watching cable tv on my computer) and switch to the cheap ass card while in linux. But unfortunately, each time I install the ati card and re-start the computer, neither the linux nor the win2k comes up. I'll get as far as the blue grub screen where you select what OS you want and it goes blank after that.
But whenever I pull out my ATI card and leave just the cheap ass card on my board, both OSes work just fine. I wouldn't have had a problem sticking to the cheap-ass card but the only problem is that I need the ATI all-in-wonder card for my win2k so I could watch TV, besides that all is fine. Or is there anyway I could watch TV in my linux mandrake 7.2 (using a cheap ass 4meg video card).
Any responses would be greatly appreciated.thanks
opid
