My flash player won't work in Linux

I keep uninstalling and reinstalling Adode flash player 10 (the latest version) to view Youtube. It work for awhile , but then I get the the same message saying,"Hello, either you have javascript turned off or you need to download the latest flash player". Can someone help please?

If you are using a plug-in for firefox that disables script then you need to enable it for youtube.

There was something about flash I read but I can't find it. Something about updates doing this maybe?
