why can't i play mp3 songs in Redhat linux 9?

Go to: http://havardk.xmms.org/dist/xmms-1.2.7-rh8-rh9-rpm/ and download the Redhat9 mp3 plugin.


Redhat is the only distro that removed support for MP3s (for legal worries), so dont think linux cant play mp3s.

I just installed RH9 and it had XMMS in it by default...(d/l version, not retail)

My bad....didn't realize they stripped mp3 out of XMMS.
