Hi, I am using Fedora Linux..
When I am using Windows.. I am pull the harddrive from one machine and put it onto another machine.. when Windows loads up again.. it will see that the new machine and it will try to add all the drivers it needs for this new machine..
How about Linux? If i have a Linux harddrive, can I put that onto another machine and would Linux do the just as automatic as Windows?

Sure works like a charm.... If you have redhat or MDK Kudzu will detect the changes and adjust accordingly. Yast will do the same for SUSE installations. Have fun

Hi,
If you are using the new versions if the Redhat then it will automatically detect all the new device drivers during the time of booting. If it not happened run the Kudzu which help to detect the new hardwares.....
