Hi, I am new to linux and all of a sudden my mouse has failed to work. Someone recommended checking the IRQs but how do I do this with no mouse (I don't know many commands for the terminals). Thanks for any help.

# cat /proc/interrupts
Although IRQs shouldn't really cause a problem unless you are using a serial mouse. PS/2 = IRQ 12 COM 1 & 3 = IRQ 4 COM 2 & 4 = IRQ 3 You can also check/force serial IRQs in your BIOS
