Hi,
I am a newbie to linux. I am not able to mount my windows nt NTFS in redhat linux 6.2 version. It asks for type of file system. But it does not support NTFS. It supports only msdos. When i give msdos option it does not mount.

All the newer kernels support mounting NTFS drives. You can try updating to a newer kernel or get an NTFS driver. There is an old one here: http://www.informatik.hu-berlin.de/~loewis/ntfs/
