Am I able to run Mortal Kombat in Linux?
Surely a great OS like this allows me to run Mortal Kombat? Haven't read anywere you can, but i think I will picket Linus's house if it dont work.
Any info on if it works or not?

Robbo.

I haven't got a CLUE if it will run Mortal Kombat. But you can get a program called Wine (www.winehq.com) that will run Windows programs - it's not an emulator like some, or you can try Bochs, which is an emulator, and can run copies of Windows in Linux.
BTW Linux isn't meant entirely for games. It is a great OS, but there is more to computers than games.

Marsd,
Ummmm.

Snoozer,
That is no excuse to not buy it again, I did, I got an OEM version so i didn't get the proper CD, so I went out to buy a proper version (CD and all). Tis now hanging on my wall next to my Win95 CD, and i hope to put my Windows Logo signed by bill gates, that MS have promised me, between them.

Chris,
Yeah but one needs a little fun when they get sick of work for a while, and why but a Playstation when i have an expensve computer here to use.

hey robbo,
would suggest the same thing as chris.
Try vmware.
the best thing with windows is that it can be emulated.

$79 dollars, that more expensive than Windows ME, I allready bought the game, shouldn't have to fork out 2 times what the game cost to use it.

I'm interested in seeing the rest of those 100 reasons not to use Linux (the serious ones). Also, I know you love Microsoft, but how about converting the other list into something other than MS Word format so we non-Office-owners can read it ?
