Hi guys i am new in linux.During the installation i have a problem. When I start installing Linux 9 in graphical mode during the probing my monitor turns off into standby.......... What is wrong with it???? My monitor is LGT710BH and my graphic card is nVidia Geforce FX-5200............................

Are you able to install it in text mode? Once installed you can then update your nvidia drivers and configure X.

At the point it boots off the CD, rather than just pressing enter to start installation, try typing:
linux vga=ask
That may help.

You don't say what distro you are trying to install, can you choose not to probe the monitor during installation? You can always set up X afterwards.
