I have mandrake 9 up and running, but the problem is that my monitor says its out of range and comes up blank when i'm running X windows. The monitor is a Dell E151FPp. Does someone have a XF86Config-4 file that works for this monitor?

Look in your manual or on the net to find your HSYNC and VSYNC limits. Then edit yout XF86Config-4 files with those numbers.

Have you tried one of the Generic monitor types? They are deep in the Monitor list. I can always get a screen with the Generic Non-Interlaced SVGA, 1024x768 @ 60hz.
