Hi When I try to install Suse linux 9.0 I get an "input out of range message". I am using a new AG Neovo LCD monitor. I get the welcome screen come up fine - then it goes haywire and shows several screens blurred into eachother. I can install winXP fine on same computer. Anyone got any ideas how to get round this problem ?
You can try either a text install or passing kernel parameters when booting from the install CD. I haven't installed suse for years but at the part where you can either hit return to start setup or possibly enter "expert" to start the expert install add either vga=791 or vga=ask. What is the native resolution of your flatscreen? Booting off the second CD may help too.

Update....
Managed to install with blurred etc screen - when KDE kicks in after install everything is fine with video - the max resolution is 1280x1024 - can only guess that Suse install only likes 640X480 which my LCD probably doesn't go down to.
