I am trying to use x-windows with RedHat 6.1 and an old 14 inch digital monitor. My video card is a ATI mach64+DVD which i am pretty sure is supported. I am using xf86config to try and configure things properly, however, it continually shows crazy lines every time i start. I have tried many different options (i.e.vertical sync rate)while configuring and nothing seems to work. Would anyone have Any suggestion it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
