In the past few weeks I have notice that while on the Internet watching a video or on You Tube, my screen blanks out for a couple of seconds. Sometimes it comes back to what I was watching and other times it comes back to my Login screen. I've not experience this problem when I am using Windows, but then I am not on Windows for any length of time. Anyone have a clue as to what could cause this? My video card is an eVGA FX-5500 nVidia GeForce 256MB DDR. Thanks

Kind of hard to tell, since linux is open sourced they get some data about devices second hand. It may never work correctly. As you say it is with some sites. Might look further into that.

Look at screen settings. They may be at edge of displays settings. Try lower settings and refresh rate.
May have to manually edit video config. I assume you are using gnome?

I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you peanut.
