Hi, I have Linux RH 7.2 installed kernel 2.4.7.10 . Trying to figure out how to use the internal modem which is '56K DAA Module' sold with the PC100 motherboards.
Any idea where I could get a driver, or source which I could compile?
Thanks

hi,
I've bad news for you, if you can't find a driver for your modem on the net then it is most likely that there is none(meaning you are screwed). If i were you i would throw that internal modem out the front door and buy an external modem.
External modems score better over internal ones, as their working doesn't hamper the system resources, unlike internal modems.
another plus, is that all external modems are platform independent. So when u decide to move to another OS, you won't be in such a helpless state.

Peace,
Shoan.
