Hi. I have an old P100, 8MB EDO RAM, NO HDD – Can anyone recommend a ‘mini Linux’ that can run off a floppy disk? I have found a few, but they all seem to require upwards of 16MB RAM and it just isn’t cost effective for me to upgrade!
Thanks for your time.

with no hdd, linux has to use a ram disk + "mem"
from 8MB
try www.toms.net/rb

consider a small hdd (2 gig or less ) new or used might be low-priced

Have a look at FreeSCO (www.freesco.org). Only requires 6Mb RAM
