Hi all,

I have 998mb ram and more than 800mb of swap space in redhat 8. when i run my intensive C pgm, first the mem usage reaches max and then the swap space reaches max and then the pgm crashes. I used to run the same pgm in my old machine (P3 ibm, 714 mb ram, no swap space ) and it worked fine. The problem is when i run the same pgm in my new machine (p4, 998 mb ram, more than 800mb swap space). Pls do advice on this

Sounds like a memory handling problem. If you are
using dynamic memory make sure you are returning
the memory.
