Try Xanim.. I found it und that has support for multiple media formats for movies.

Or if its a decent music player, then I highly recommend, Xmms.

Thank, but seem it don't support ASF format, so not suitable for me to use.

It could be awhile before we see some kind of Linux-based media player, cause:

ASF: Short for Advanced Streaming Format, a streaming multimedia file format developed by Microsoft.
