Linux server is running Samba behind our firewall. I am trying to set this up so I can work from home using my Internet connection. Is there any way to do this other than setting up a VPN. If you can just point me in the right direction, I think I can figure out the rest. Thanks.

I have never done it but it is possible The connection will work on port 139 it would work if you used samba? Have you installed and configured Samba? it should be possible.
