During installation of either mandrake or red hat, my computer stalls (i.e. frozen mouse pointer, no cpu or hard drive activity). This happens during different parts of the installation after the 2nd stage. It stalls while I'm choosing packages, defining the partitions, installation of packages, etc. I've upgraded my bios (to an Award 8/21/2000 version for a W6119MS motherboard)and using a new WD 40 gig hard drive. Could there be IRQ conflicts or what? If so, how can I tell.
