Hello. Having issues with Mandrake 8.2. I can't get RealPlayer to install. Whenever I try to use
the RPM, I get an error message that says that it is already installed. However, I have no
evidence of this, and it doesn't seem to be. Ideas? Where would I find the files if it was
installed, for instance?

You can check whether it has been installed
or not by

rpm -q filename
-or-
find / -name filename -print

I didn't know that RealPlay comes with a RPM
format!!! I thought it comes as an executable
file where you run it to install it...

Apparently it does. I got it working last night. Thanks for the command, though. That will help.
