hello everyone.
i downloaded these two files from linux-mandrake site: mandrake80-ext.iso and mandrake-inst.iso. i want to install to my computer. how can i make a boot disk.

Well a boot disk you can do in two ways: 1 installing Linux mandrake (in the time of instalation) or: 2 If you have mandrake installed you can go: On the desktop (login as root) you have an icon: Mandrake control centre... Click and at the first step... Boot Config you will find Boot disk... (sorry bout my english!) If there is something else that you want to know about boot disks and not that, make your announce more clear...

Burn each ISO to a blank CD.That will unpack the files and you can then either boot directly from the Installation CD (set CDROM as the first boot device in BIOS Setup) or create a boot floppy from it using Rawrite.
If you haven't burned ISOs before suggest you read up on it or get a geek friend to help you.
