I would have thought that booting off the
first one is wat you should be doing. The
second may be for a text or expert install,
or perhaps a different kernel (eg for RAID
etc)

I don't mean to be rude but if you do not have 9.2 then you probably dont know what I mean. So here is a couple ftp sites so you can see what i am talkin about.
ftp://ftp.rutgers.edu/pub/mandrake/Mandrake-iso/i586/

ftp://mandrake.mirrors.pair.com/mandrake-iso/i586/
The iso that says clic phi is bootable and the cd 1 is bootable.
the reason i have to ask wich one, is because red hat has 2 sets of 3 cds and only the 1st cd of 1 of the 2 sets is bootable. In this case 2 cds of mandrake are bootable. I only tried those 2 cds to see if they were bootable but as you will see there is another iso for a security cd.
Please help
If you know the install sequence of mandrake 9.2

They are not the final releases, hence the
RC bits (Release Candidate). The clics are probably done daily.
If you have bittorrent, you can download
the final images. www.linuxiso.org seems to
be down at the moment, you could always try
a mirror (eg planetmirror or mirror.ac.uk).
