I am trying to install mandrake 9.0 on a freshly made, 5 GB, FAT32 Partition. I put in my install CD (created from the ISO files at mandrakelinux.com) and click on 'Install Mandrake'. The computer restarts, winXP loads back up, and it sits there, not installing. Any suggestions?

Typical problem with linux: people assume that all modems will work, while most winmodems won't.

I didn't assume anything in my system would work. And it's not a winmodem, so I should be able to get it working somehow. Its a Broadxent PCI modem, i'm not at that system right now so I dont have the exact model number, but I will give try to a few things once I get back to it this evening.
