Hi, I am trying to install Mandrake 9 on my machine. The installation is going smoothly till the point of configuring X server at which point the installation freezes. On rebooting I am not getting the GUI screen but only the bash prompt. I have a SiS 300 VGA card and Philips 107E monitor. Is it a driver problem? Since I am new to linux which version of the driver should be installed and where do I get it from? Also Please mention how do I install it from the command prompt. Thanks in advance Regards Partha
