Mandrake 8.2 boot error

OS: Mandrake 8.2
CPU/Ram: PII 300mmx 160m ram

when booting up I get the error EXT2FS out of date. it still boots ok but what happened to get the errors ? and what to fix ?
I had a 1gig scsi drive that Mandrake didnt use when installing,so I set it mount windows to use for CD iso images,do you think that is the problem ? if so what next ?

You may want to run "fsck" for that partition
in Linux then. Before you run that command,
make sure you unmount it first though...
