Comment:

I setup my Mandrake 7.2 box to automatically login whenever it is turned on.

How do I change the default user and default desktop settings?

Thanks in advance!

Think it was in drakconf and then somewhere in the startup manager or userprofiles

You're on the right track.
In Mandrake, the name of the program is called "userdrake"

Start userdrake,
goto the settings menu
select preferences
& click on the button that says:
"active autologin support"

as always, best of luck!
