Mandrake 10.1 - Fatal error while*

Anyone know why I would get the ' Fatal error while loading into memory ' message while trying to install Mandrake 10.1
I have the cd-rom as secondary master and the hdd as the primamry master, I can load windows and SuSE onto the the drive just fine, but mandrake 10.1 is a no go; anyone got a solution?¿

sounds like a bad cd man...........try to boot from cd 2............I think that might work, can rememeber, or reburn cd or download cd 1 again...........

Yeah I reburnt it last night and tried again; no luck. I'll try downloading it again tonight and post the outcome incase anyone else gets this problem.

blah no dice, re-downloaded from linuxiso.org and still get the same error trying to install :\
Oh well; I got SuSE 9.1, But i dont think it has all the packages and source I need to install my ATi drivers so I suppose im going to try slackware next.
