Comment:

Eager to try out the new Mandrake, I downloaded the ISO's and rebooted to install. When the text part of the installer was loading, it briefly said something like "Error initializing ramdisk 2". The screen then blacked out a few minutes while it read the CD. Then I get into the graphical install and after setting up my partitions it said "Error: No kerenel" along listing a bunch of missing packages. What's going on? I've been using Mandrake quite a while and never had an install problem. Maybe my ISO was bad?
